After a 40 year career in business, with the last 15 years devoted to Bar Code Label production, and at an age when many men dream of retirement Arnold D. Taylor dreamed of starting a new company. ADT Enterprises, Inc. was incorporated on July 15, 1988. The stated goal was to develop a company that offered the finest quality labels at competitive prices.

     Our emphasis on quality starts with the raw material. We use products from KODAK, 3M, Avery, Flexcon, etc. All of these companies meet our standard of standing behind their products – no questions asked. A few years ago we had one vendor who wanted to make a quality complaint right with us by " a creative solution". They are no longer one of our vendors!

     Quality control consists of visual inspection of every sheet of labels at different stages of production as well as a final visual inspection with reference to the Job Requirements Sheet. Then each Bar Code job is subjected to a random check with a PSC Verifier. The result is printed and affixed to the sheet verified. You do not have to wonder if your labels are "in Spec". You have proof of it.

     To help us be competitive we have chosen to reduce overhead. For example we have no sales/marketing function. We rely on the quality of our products to encourage our Customers to become our salesmen! The champion Customer has now referred us to 23 new accounts. Another example of overhead reduction is that we have no administrative personnel. We have no Job Descriptions- if an employee sees something that needs to be done they are free to do it. We have no Organization Charts - we all realize that we report to our Customers. We have no secrets – every employee knows whether we are profitable on every job. They know what is contained in our Income Statement and Balance Sheet. Each quarter all employees receive an equal portion of our Profit Sharing Plan.
